"Strong Tobacco is based on a Cuban rhythm 'La Comparsa, and the opening few bars will probably be where many quartets start tearing, their hair out - not with finger-wrenching chord shapes (for this is all, single-line music), but rather with the intracies of all playing and all, being silent at exactly the same time! Smooth Going Body Lotion... is a joyous little piece based around a 3/3/2 pattern of quavers...this piece is a delight from start to end."-Classical Guitar Magazine
Grade 6 8.95 LMP100This piece invokes the ragas found in the music of India. The title is a little mysterious but refers to the calmness and tranquility often felt in the 'blue hour' in the evening before the darkness swallows everything. The work is built on a raga by the violinist L. Subramaniam and is a wonderfully evocative concert item. The work has been recorded by Sven Lundestad and Tom Simensen on their CD Trivium
"This is one of the best pieces of music written for flute and guitar that it has been my pleasure to review. This is a beautifully written piece whether the instruments are playing individually or together the sounds are ravishing. ... Buy it and perform it!" - Classical Guitar Magazine

"...there is so much here to enjoy that I would recommend this to any guitarist who has the need to add some excitement into their repertory." - CLASSICAL GUITAR MAGAZINE
8.95Grade 8.LMP117"Melodies by Mikis Theodorakis and Nikos Antypas are used here to produce a set of three pieces in a very accessible style requiring an upper grades technique. All three pieces share a similar episodic tendency, which may come from their origin as cadenzas in vocal settings of the songs. Tempo and meter change repeatedly and a fairly determined rhythmical drive would be required to keep them hanging together. Given such drive I am sure they would produce a very good effect. The last piece features some percussion on the instrument and an alternative ending should the player feel they want to share their singing as well as their playing." - Classical Guitar Magazine
"Une musique originale par sa melodie et par sa structure, qui malgre sa difficulte technique devrait interesser de nombreux guitaristes. - Guitare Classique
6.95 Grade 8 LMP110This is the first publication in the 'Eleftheria Kotzia Series' a series of works which feature in the concert repertoire of this wonderful Greek guitarist. 'Cantos de Amor Olvidados' is a brilliant concert work, was written for Eleftheria Kotzia and features two popular songs which the composer wrote in collaboration with poet and singer Patricio Manns, the songs being 'The Fire That Destroys Us' and 'I Do Not Sing Your Name Any More'
"This is an interesting and individual work that is romantic and melodic in nature. ...this work would sit nicely in a recital and really ought to get a hearing or three." - Classical Guitar Magazine.
